Camellias

Original mini painting - acrylic on 4×6” canvas panel. These beautiful flowers grow in my backyard in BC. Every year when they bloom I’m in awe of how something so lovely can exist so close to me. But what really made me need to paint this was the incredible blue of the sky behind them.
